Contractors and agencies won’t want to miss the Asphalt Pavement Alliance’s Asphalt Pavement Conference leading into the World of Asphalt’s 2012 Show and Conference in Charlotte, NC, next month.

This year’s conference will cover three hot industry topics:  Innovations in Paving, Pavement Preservation with Plant Mix, and Keeping Competitive.

The conference will be held from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Monday, March 12, and from 7:30 - 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 13. 

A wealth of information will be provided on topics including thin-lift asphalt overlays as a pavement preservation technique, the importance of validating MEPDG calibration, high-RAP mix performance, and ways of overcoming barriers to asphalt recycling.

The presentations are designed to provide hard-hitting, practical information on the latest advancements in asphalt pavement research and technology.  Both contractors and agency personnel will take away tactical strategies for constructing high-quality pavements that are economical and sustainable.

The APA Asphalt Pavement Conference is designed for paving professionals in the public and private sectors. Construction managers, project superintendents, QC/QA technicians/managers and others involved in the design, construction and maintenance process will benefit.
